About Ben
BA Psych (Hons) MPsych (Clinical)
I am a registered psychologist and clinical psychology registrar, working in private practice in Coffs Harbour. I have worked across a range of clinical settings and bring extensive experience in working with forensic populations.
My path to psychology emerged from a long-standing interest in the psychological and psychospiritual processes involved in the development of the human personality. My approach is person-centred and grounded in the understanding of individuation as something that emerges through contact with inner and outer experience and serves as the central point around which the therapeutic process unfolds.

Services
Individual Therapy
Therapy offers a supportive relational space where individuals can explore inner conflicts, develop greater insight, and cultivate emotional freedom while promoting the maturation of the personality. This often involves becoming aware of entrenched patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaviour, making contact with aspects of the self that have become split off or remain underdeveloped, and creating opportunities for lasting psychological change and personal growth.
My practice is integrative and collaborative, providing a grounded, respectful, and confidential environment where clients can explore challenges at their own pace. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your individual needs by integrating various evidence-based approaches. Together, we work to reduce distress, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop a deeper understanding of the underlying patterns that contribute to difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and life transitions.
